Can you really make money on the internet with HYIP’s?
HYIP’s or High Yield Investment Programs seems to be one of the easiest ways to make quick money online. Because of its very easy set-up, just join a HYIP program deposit your fund and earn high interest in short period of time, it appeals to lazy people looking for fast ways to make money online.
According to Wikipedia, the term “HYIP” was not an evil term because it was used in the financial services sector to refer to an investment program which may have offered a high return on investment.
However, the term was abused by scam operators to camouflage their scams as legitimate investments. As a result, HYIP has become synonymous with scam or Ponzi scheme.
Most HYIPs are a fly-by-night business. Generally, quick investment sites only stay online anywhere from 1 day to 1.5 years so if the HYIP you invested closes down, you will surely lose all or part of your initial capital. It’s purely a hit and run game.
While few people earn money investing in HYIPs, this involves a very high degree of risks and I strongly advice that you should stay away from HYIP’s especially if you don’t know the trick of the game.
Aside from ethical reasons, it is easier to lose money here than to actually earn a profit or redeem your investment. I know this to be true because I was once involved with this kind of money making programs – losing my last dime.
